The Compact Twido PLC is ideally suited for simple standalone installations such as automatic doors, vending machines, pump and lighting systems. This user-friendly, easy-to-install version features a power supply, processor, and I/O (10, 16 or 24), packed into an enclosure as small as a half-litre milk carton.

The 20 I/O, business-card-sized Modular Twido PLC is designed for repetitive machines such as car wash gantries, lifts, palletizers, compressors, wood working machines, and industrial washing machines.

The main system modules of both the modular and compact PLCs can be combined with additional discrete, analog or mixed I/O (8,16,24 or 32 modules) for larger configurations.

Both versions feature standard fast up/down counters, time delays, permanent data backup and an RS 485 Modbus master/slave communication port for remote control of I/O or PLCs. Options include a built-in display screen, memory cartridges, a real-time clock and communication adapters.

The Twido PLC is programmed with TwidoSoft software, an IEC 1131.3-compliant, mixable and reversible List language and Ladder language. The software features Windows-based editing functions and integrated online help.
